The “REAL” Economy the Mainstream Press Refuses to Talk About

The “Great Recession” officially ended six years ago however someone forgot to include the average American Citizen in the recovery. Mainstream Media publishes what is promoted to be encouraging economic news claiming the addition of 200,000 new jobs in one month is a sign the economy is gaining steam. However a closer look at the facts tells an entirely different story, a story that your local news affiliates simply will not talk about. Its a sad day in America when the only news agency willing to talk about the truth of the present “Obama” American economy is Al Jazeera, but then again that is Obama’s vision of America, isn’t it?

“In the last six years America’s population grew by about 14 million people. With population growth taken into account, America needs more than 145 million jobs to surpass 2008′s employment percentage. [Background.]

Furthermore, the share of working-age people who have work or are looking for a job – the civilian labor force participation rate – has declined. In January 2008 it stood at 66.2 percent but was down to 62.8 percent this April. Bringing the participation rate back up would require a few million more jobs.”

I like to break things down mathematically so let me do that for you with the above statistics:

14 million new people in six years equals 200,000 new mouths to feed every month and that number does NOT include Illegal Immigration.

So when the labor department published the “new jobs created” report each month and it falls below 200,00 that means we have created fewer new jobs than “LEGAL” immigration would require to feed our new NON-Citizens.

NOT including Illegal Immigration.

In the past six years the “Jobs report has been UNDER 200,000 new jobs created more often than it has been above. No wonder our welfare rolls are growing so fast, but the news gets even better, so hang on.

Taking into account the number of new jobs required for Legal Immigration (145 million) just to get us back to 2008’s “Pre-Recession” economy and the fact we’re producing fewer than 200,000 new full time jobs per month, things aren’t looking so good because, oh wait a minute, I forgot to include the unemployed American born citizens whose families need jobs. But then I didn’t really forget them, they are included in the above discussion but our Government has long since forgotten about them, haven’t they?

I digress, so I’ll get back to my next point.

Breaking down the fact that it would take 145 million new “FULL TIME” jobs to gainfully employ the increased LEGAL immigration over the last six years and return our work force to full employment, we discover that good economic news would have to include no less than 2,000,000 new jobs per month. A net deficit of 1,800,000 jobs each and every month for the last 6 years. When you consider that most of the new jobs created since the introduction of Obamacare have been part time jobs the truth about the economy is even uglier.

At the current rate of job creation (assuming 200,000 new full time jobs/month) it would take no less than 725 months to create enough jobs to meet the needs of the last six years of legal immigration and unemployment from the “Great Recession.”  But hang on because two hundred-thousand new jobs a month would only work if there wasn’t one more person allowed to be born in the USA or immigrate here from another country for the next 60 YEARS!

These numbers do NOT include Illegal immigration, so even a mental midget can see the ‘REAL’ economic news is NOT good.

Last but not least, is the “Work Force Participation Rate.” At 66% that means that nearly 4 out of ten people (3.5 out of ten people, kind of sucks to be that 1/2 person) you’ll see on the street today who could work, are unemployed or are underemployed when you factor in the decreased number of working hours most new jobs offer these days. Therefor the Real Unemployment rate is closer to 40% unemployment but just to be fair we’ll use the above number and call it 34%.

If you’ve studied any economics at all you’ll recall that a 5 to 7 percent unemployment rate is healthy. Our current numbers are nearly 6 times that high.

Obama’s vision for America looks like is a smaller work force participation rate than we had at the beginning of WWII, ridiculously high numbers of people immigrating here given the state of our economy, a Federal Government that is filled with do nothing legislators who only give lip service to the problems we face as a nation, leadership by executive order and an ever increasing number of illegal immigrants who have no real vested interest in the American way of life other than a welfare check or social security program, should it be any wonder that legal citizens are getting fed up?

I ask the question “who does the Federal Government think is going to pay the taxes for the benefits they are dolling out?” Or maybe the better question might be “does the Federal Government even care?” They think we can print money till the cows come home and borrow our way into prosperity. I forgot to mention that working class Americans saw their Federal, State and local taxes increase substantially over the last six years. Which means that every day working class Americans work longer and harder for less and less take home pay while footing the bill for Obama’s idea of “CHANGE!”

I think we should be asking the question “Is this economy being intentionally sabotaged by our own Government?” I ask this question because, given the abundant fossil fuels located on the mainland USA, we should be experiencing the biggest economic boom in the history of the world, but alas we are not. Sadly our Republican Legislators (and Democrats) think homeland security, common core and health care reform will fix our problems.

What good will an education do for us if there are no jobs for the educated to work at? And by the way don’t even start talking about the “Trillion” dollar plus student loan debt that will never be repaid unless our graduates are working. What good is Homeland Security and the TSA with borders that are literally hemorrhaging illegal immigrants. What good is health care reform when the population it is allegedly designed to serve are out of work and can’t pay the insurance premiums the reform depend upon in order to work?


Police and Sheriff Departments Accross the Nation are Buying Lots of Military Hardware

Recently there have been a spate of reports documenting the trend of the Department of Defense and the Department of Homeland Security outfitting America’s local police departments with military equipment such as bomb proof vehicles, body armour, and machine guns.

In Indiana, Pulaski County Sheriff Michael Gayer told reporters that “The United States of America has become a war zone.” The Sheriff has received much media attention lately following his department’s acquisition of a Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle via what has clearly become a militarization program emanating out of the Pentagon, with the approval of the federal government.

“It’s a lot more intimidating than a Dodge.” Sheriff Gayer noted regarding the MRAP.

Just exactly why Pulaski County needs to intimidate anyone is left unexplained. As noted in the Indianapolis Star report, Pulaski County is a farming community with just 13,124 residents. In 2012, the County experienced only 11 incidents of theft, and just 17 property crimes. There was 1 murder, however it is unlikely that a mine resistant vehicle would have prevented this, nor is it clear why the other equipment purchased under Sheriff Gayer would be required.

Quite clearly Sheriff Gayer believes that he is engaged in some kind of war with his own citizens, or other American citizens coming into his county. Indeed, in the Indianapolis suburbs, officers said they needed a mine-resistant vehicle to protect against a possible attack by veterans returning from war.

“You have a lot of people who are coming out of the military that have the ability and knowledge to build I.E.D.’s and to defeat law enforcement techniques,” Sgt. Dan Downing of the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department told the local Fox affiliate, referring to improvised explosive devices, or homemade bombs.

Is the same attitude and belief held by other law enforcement departments across the nation?

The figures suggest it is. The NY Times notes that “Since 2006, the police in six states have received magazines that carry 100 rounds of M-16 ammunition, allowing officers to fire continuously for three times longer than normal. Twenty-two states obtained equipment to detect buried land mines.”

If this isn’t a clear indication of the buildup of a militarized police state then what exactly is?

Governor Welcomes Comments on Wyoming Water Strategy

CHEYENNE, Wyo. – Governor Matt Mead wants people across the state to be part of finalizing the Wyoming Water Strategy. Last week, the Governor’s Office released a list of possible measures to be implemented as components of a Water Strategy. A video of this meeting can be viewed online. Governor Mead now wants widespread comment on what Wyoming people believe is the most important focus for the state.

“There was great turnout for the nine listening sessions on the Wyoming Water Strategy and the conference last week. Water is a valuable resource and it is important to have a plan for the future,” Governor Mead said. “Public input and comment have given us direction and I want to make sure that everyone has the opportunity to be a part of this plan.”

House Majority Leader Eric Cantor Loses Virginia Primary to Tea Party Backed Candidate

Any rumors that the tea party movement is dead were quashed yesterday when tea party backed candidate Dave Brat crushed the House Majority Leader, Eric Cantor, in Virginia’s primary election. Cantor has been the poster child of establishment politics with his pro amnesty, pro crony capitalism stance and the voters made it clear that “enough is enough.”

I know that many of you have been discouraged lately, as our movement has labeled by the media as extremist, radical and even terrorist by people like Harry Reid. What the mainstream media does not want to report is that every day Americans like you and me care more about the future of our country than special interests bent on destroying the greatest nation in the history of the Earth.

The most important point to take out of yesterday’s Virginia vote is that the winner, Dave Brat, spent a total of $200,000 against the lobbyist funded war chest of Eric Cantor totaling over $5 MILLION. We have been saying for the last six years that we don’t need to match the establishment candidates dollar for dollar since we have the truth behind our argument. We do, however, need enough to get our message in front enough voters to make a difference. That is where you come in.

Refugees Pouring Into Southern States Invited Here By Barak Obama

Back in the Sixties, Marxists Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven came up with a great strategy for overloading and collapsing democratic welfare states, paving the way for socialist tyranny.  Basically, the idea was to hit the system with a tidal wave of demands it couldn’t refuse, and couldn’t possibly fulfill.  The Left would then insist that the moral argument for the system remained intact, so the only way to meet those impossible demands was to scrap every vestige of Constitutional restraint and republican self-government, instituting a totalitarian system that in theory would forcibly restructure society to promote “fairness” and give all those government dependents what they “deserve.”  (In practice, of course, what you actually get is an iron-fisted dictatorship that cooks up reports to make itself look good, or simply tells the unhappy citizens to shut up and obey when things deteriorate to the point that no volume of phony reports can paper over the problems – say, when the glorious worker’s paradise of Venezuela runs out of tap water.)obama_cartoon_01

Cloward and Piven were specifically interested in replacing welfare programs with a government-guaranteed annual income for everyone – an idea that still emerges from the more absurd quarters of the Left occasionally – but the basic idea of overloading the republican system and replacing it with centrally-planned tyranny can be applied in many different ways.  Take a look at the humanitarian crisis on the southern border, which I wrote about two weeks ago.  It has since burst onto the front pages with some astonishing stories, including leaked photos of illegal alien children – many of them 12 years old and younger – “warehoused” in overcrowded facilities, where there are growing concerns about sanitation and disease.  CBS News in Houston writes of unaccompanied minors sleeping on plastic boards in a Nogales, Arizona warehouse after being flown in from south Texas.  According to some estimates, there are nearly a thousand children in that warehouse now.

There’s nothing complicated about what is happening here.  Barack Obama invited these people to send their children to the United States as refugees.  He’s already made illegal use of executive orders to gut the immigration system; he’s talking about doing it again, and the people of South and Central America can hear him just fine.  There have been anecdotal reports of a message being spread throughout Central American countries, by everything from word-of-mouth gossip to news media: “Go to America with your child, you won’t be turned away.”  (It will come as no surprise to learn that the Mexican government is not doing much to halt the train of amnesty-seekers headed for American soil.  On the contrary, corrupt Mexican officials are trying to get a cut of the profits from the refugee-smuggling trade.)

And it’s not just the President sending those signals, since there’s a vibrant bipartisan amnesty chorus in Congress.  Obama will only seize power to rewrite the laws if Congress doesn’t do it fast enough for his taste, or if he sees electoral advantage in taking matters into his own hands.

Young illegals are particularly cherished by the American ruling class, which has dubbed them “Dreamers” and frankly describes them as superior in motivation and potential to native-born young people.  There is every reason for families who live in South America to think their children will be given citizenship, plus special perks (such as access to discounted college tuition rates) if they can get them to the U.S. border.  The Obama Administration is even talking about providing the young illegals with attorneys.  The Federal Emergency Management Agency has become involved at President Obama’s direction.

This tidal wave of illegals is not an accident, and not entirely a result of conditions in Central America (which have deteriorated lately, but were already bad enough to inspire any sane person to seek a new life elsewhere.)  These people were summoned.  And now that they’re here, the system is collapsing beneath their weight.  In addition to the refugees flown to Arizona in the CBS News story above, the El Paso Times reports two planeloads of illegals arriving for processing.  ”The vast majority of individuals transferred were family units from Central America and Mexico with children,” according to an El Paso official.
